Yes! All pottery is safe for the dishwasher as well as the microwave, and is oven safe up to 350 degrees. 

Please take a few extra steps to preserve the beauty of your handmade pottery. Even though it's been fired at 2000 degrees, it's a gradual firing that takes hours & hours to complete. If your pottery is subject to extreme heat or cold without proper acclimation it may cause damage. 

Here are a few things to remember in order to keep your one of a kind pieces looking beautiful.

• MUGS ~ Please make sure your mug is room temperatur before pouring in boiling hot beverages. Using a cold mug may cause damage or cracking.
• BAKEWARE ~ Place bakeware in a cold oven to allow it to gradually heat up with your oven, adjust baking time as needed. Putting bakeware into a hot oven may cause damage or cracking. 
• DISHWASHER ~ When putting your pottery in the dishwasher make sure other ceramics are not touching it to prevent movement between the pieces while the dishwasher is operating to prevent chips. 
• Handwashing ~ Allow your pottery to cool to room temperature before submersing in cool water. 

Our stoneware clay comes from two companies- Laguna Clay Company, and  Trinity Ceramics. The clay itself, however, is mined in several areas, mostly Ohio and Georgia.
